GROMAX CNC Sinker EDM Features:

1. Visual display unit and keyboard:
The 14" color monitor displays all information necessary for effective use of the TNC’s capabilities. The keys on the operating panel are grouped according to function. This makes it easier to create programs and use the TNC’s function. Simple English words and abbreviations or unambiguous symbols make the keys easy to learn.

2. The HR330 Electronic handwheel:    Fast, Reliable Setup
The machine drive moves the slide in the direction to the rotation of the handwheel. You can reduce the transmission ratio for delicate setup operations stepwise in a range of 20mm to 0.02mm per handwheel revolution. In addition the HR330 has keys for emergency stop, rapid traverse and traverse direction.

3. Programming:
The user programs TNC 416 right at the machine with interactive conversational-type guidance. The most frequent types of straight line and circular contour elements have their own symbol keys.

4. TNC Coordinate Transformations and Subprogramming Save Time and Memory Space:
Often enough, machining patterns repeat themselves on the same, or on different workpieces. You don’t have to enter details again that have already been defined.

5. Program Section Repetition:
A section of a program can be labeled and then repeated several times in succession.

6. Subprogramming:
A work sequence which is required in various places within a program can be labeled as a subprogram to be called whenever and wherever desired.

7. Program Call:
Separate programs - for example frequently needed routines - can also be called from within another program.

8. Programming Geometric Variants and Complicated Surfaces:
Parameters permit the convenient programming of an entire family of parts with one program. On the other hand, unusual 2D and simple 3D surfaces may be neatly handled with parameter programming.

9. Graphics:
Workpiece machining can be graphically simulated. Various display modes are available.

10. External Data Transfer:
RS232 transferring files from the TNC to an external device ( PC or legtop)

Erosion Cycle–DICK:
The DISK cycle is a machining cycle. It facilitates programming the sparking-out
behavior and movement of the electrode.
