Features
Sturdy double walled column with symmetrical design provides utmost rigidity, minimizes thermal distortion and ensures accuracy. The X- and Z- axes way surfaces are coated with Turcite-B, match shaped to the cast iron supports. This combination has a low coefficient of friction and good anti "stick-slip" properties. The main components of the machine are stabilized Meehanite cast iron to achieve good shock absorption. Heavy walls, heavy cross rib and superior design make this an extremely rigid machine.
